The Intellectual Assets Centre can help your organisation manage its intellectual assets better.  

The IA is a team of 6 Scottish Enterprise specialist advisers, who offer free consultancy and advice to help you in managing – and leveraging – the key intangible assets within your business.
They offer a range of 1:1 support services including:
  • Intellectual Assets (IA) Diagnostic Services: This free service will both assist you in the identification of your key intellectual assets and also identify whether opportunities exist to derive further commercial benefit from these assets.
  • Intellectual Assets Action Planning: If your business wishes to take forward the recommendations of the IA Diagnostic, the Service will help to create an action plan for a proposed IA Management Project.
  • IA Management Projects: IA Management Projects may, for example, cover: developing and safeguarding “know how” and / or technology in key markets; licensing in or acquiring new innovations to grow the business; or protecting  IA and IP in collaborative partnerships or joint ventures. The IA Specialists can help you to both scope the project – and identify whether it may be eligible for funding support.
  • IA Workshop programmes supported by 1:1 Consultancy: These workshop programmes offer proven in depth support packages tailored to the needs of key sectors.  Participating companies benefit from both interactive group workshop activity and up to three days 1:1 “in company” consultancy delivered by the IA Specialists.
These services are available to your businesses, irrespective of size, sector, age or geographic spread in Scotland.
